* Rise of the Phoenix painting

Everyone was moved by the September 11th tragedy, and the above painting Rise of the Phoenix, was an  expression of an artist's feelings on canvas.  This painting best expresses the spirit of New York which the terrorist couldn't destroy.  In particular this painting was inspired by the picture of the American flag that was hoisted by the NY firemen at ground zero of the World Trade Center (WTC) (picture shown below).

The Phoenix symbolizes rebirth, resurrection, and immortality, it is a mythological bird, that is said to burn and rise again from its ashes, young and beautiful; and  just like a Phoenix, so will the NY WTC rise from its ashes.

The painting shows an American bald eagle metaphorically rising from the ashes of the NY WTC, with its right wing sprouting from the twisted metal wreckage, and its left wing sprouting from the American flag, representing American pride, regeneration and rebuilding.

* * God Bless America, the way Jesus would say it

Jesus spoke Aramaic, which at one time was the Lingua-Franca of the East (similar to how the English language is at the present time).  The Aramaic language at one time stretched from the Mediterranean sea and all to way to China, India, and Mongolia.  It was the language of trade, Diplomacy, and Christian religion.  The Aramaic language is also known as: Syriac, Assyrian, and Chaldean. and to this date it is preserved by the Syriac speaking churches of the Middle East, who were the first people to adopt Christianity in the world.
