From Osroene to Kosroene

Lebanon and Osroene are related.
Kosroene is a region in Lebanon that has its roots stretching to Osroene.
The added "K" in its name means "Like" or "Similar To".
In other words "Kosroene" mean "Like Osoroene".

Most probably it was named that way by the Marde who came to Lebanon from the regions of the Mountain of Nimrud and Mardin in Osroene (located in northern Mesopotamia).  Even one of their princes was said to have the name Kosro.

Our Maronite Brothers are holding a conference in Los Angeles/Long Beach California USA this year, where many political and religious leaders will be attending this event.
