
There are different styles
of Orthodox Crosses, some Assyrians/Syriacs Orthodox unknowingly use the Greek
Orthodox Cross thinking it is the Assyrian/Syriac Orthodox cross, however not
all Orthodox crosses are the same. Here are pictures that show the difference
between them:

Assyrian/Syriac Orthodox Cross (with 3-pointed tips that are derived from the
lotus flower and/or the pomegranate bud that was used by ancient Assyrians).
Notice its origin as displayed on the top of the crown worn by an Assyrian Angel
(from an ancient Assyrian sculpture), and surrounded by two Angels (from an
Assyrian sculpture after Christianity).
This style in known in the Middle East as Salib-Siryani (Slibo-Suryoyo /
Assyrian-Cross).
